Minor Chores and Repairs

Eligibility

• Age 60 or older
• Lives on the Eastside of Milwaukee, Riverwest or Shorewood
• Lives independently in a home or apartment

What We Do

• A volunteer can perform infrequent minor chores or repairs
• Some examples of services include help with moving heavy items, storm window exchanges, lightbulb changes, or cleaning a hard to reach area
• UW-Milwaukee students in the fall and spring provide free yard cleanup
• All services are free

What You Need To Do

• Call one week prior to your first service to get registered as a new client
• Call one week prior for all service requests
